The dingy whites is just something I have to deal with. I had thought of blueing too and am keeping an eye out for some. I think my boiling and vinegar trick helped a bunch.
I dont have a dryer so all of my clothes are hung to dry. I have thought of laying the whites on the grass to dry, I have heard that helps.
debbieodebbieohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16591676862695285439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7836569253657728265.post-4320329217058309162012-01-06T11:41:54.928-06:002012-01-06T11:41:54.928-06:00p.s. Plenty of super hot water, extra detergent and a good hang out in the sun. It might not do it all at once, but will help. My mom used blueing in her whites.

http://www.amazon.com/Mrs-Stewarts-Bluing-8oz/dp/B001NEMV3Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1325871546&sr=8-1loves2spinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02072576848451758173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7836569253657728265.post-82961003319083673032012-01-05T18:05:38.876-06:002012-01-05T18:05:38.876-06:00I make my own vanilla sugar and my own vanilla ext...I make my own vanilla sugar and my own vanilla extract now as well. I have used vodka and bourbon to make it, and I think I like the bourbon better....it has a deeper, bolder flavor to it!

I have read that the beans can last up to seven years in the alcohol. Have you heard that too?

Blessings~
LauraThe Red Brick Farmhousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06284797355909025022noreply@blogger.com
