I have not made soap for a while because when I do make it, I make 4 batches at a time. For a while I was making 4 batches almost every day so my stock grew. Well its going down now, yippie so its time to make soap again. Also, it takes 3 weeks to cure so I always have to be watching the inventory and make soap in enough time to let it cure before I can sell it.
I have started just making oatmeal, milk and honey scented soap with real oatmeal for the most part. It got to be too much having 20 different kinds of soap. Oatmeal, milk and honey is the first scent I made and so its kind of my signature scent. It is the most popular so I will stick with it most of the time.
My furniture is selling well so that is one care off my mind. Now to get the business sold. Please pray that someone wants a great opportunity to start a business. This is a great business, its just not portable like we want to be.
The gift sets seems to be a big hit. I will continue with them, at least until they no longer fill a need, the packaging may change with what I think is cute at the time. I need to go to the post office today and have them weighed after packaging to get an estimate for shipping. When I get that done I will post the shipping cost on the post with the pictures of the gift sets so all the information will be together.
Today, after I get the soap made, Mollie and I have several dressers, file cabinets, book shelves, and such to clean out and clean up that are sold. Some of them are going to Spearville and some to Dodge so this weekend we will load up the trailer and haul them there and pick up the wringer washer I am buying along with a few other items. I have been on the look out for a wringer washer for quite some time now. I am excited to have the opportunity to buy one that I know the owner and know it has been taken care of.

Home made RV holding tank solution
For those of you who own and use an RV, you know that the chemicals you buy at the store to put in the holding tank can get costly. And, you are literally flushing the money down the drain. Makes ya sick.
I found a home made tank solution that is much cheaper.
In an empty and clearly marked one gallon container place the following.
1 c. Borateem
1/2 c. Pine sol
3 T. Ammonia
Fill remainder with warm water. Make sure you have at least 10 gallons of water in your tank before you put this solution in. Then just put about 2 c. in to control odors.

Uses for thieves' oil
I found this list of uses for thieves oil. I imagine a person should use their own good judgement to decide if and when they should try any of these ideas. I am not making any claims here, just passing on information I have found on the Internet. If even half of the claims are true, it is indeed great stuff. I, myself am going to try a few of the suggestions.

Hobo signs
Years ago when hobo's roamed the roads, woods and rails they used signs to leave messages and communicate with each other. I found this page about the meaning of some of their signs and symbols. I was surprised at the amount of signs they had and the complexity.

Leftover roast beef lunch
When we cooked at camp we were in charge of the noon and evening meal. For lunch we had roast, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and rolls, along with salads and desserts.
For supper we used the left over roast beef and made home made rolls and had french dip sandwiches, baked beans and cole slaw. Our meals were a big hit.
We ended up with a bit of roast beef and gravy or beef broth when we were done so Joella and I divided it. Today I am warming it up and will make a chunky beef gravy over mashed potatoes and green beans.
I think this is something that Christina and the kids will enjoy and it is a way to use up the leftover roast.
Tomorrow we will be packing Christina and the kids up and heading off to Oklahoma city to meet up with brother Bill and Jeff. Then Bill and Chirstina will be heading to Kingman for a mission trip. They are hoping to finish what we all started last spring.

Chocolate hard shell results-and crazy cake
I made the crazy cake for Mollie and Hannah's birthday cake and it is good. It tastes like a home made cake which it is.
Joy just made the chocolate hard shell and it turned out great. She also put some peanut butter in some of it and its really good too. We were just sure it wasn't going to work because it was so liquid, but we tried it on ice cream and it hardened right up. So cool. And so much cheaper.

Christmas in July and Farmers Market Saturday
Tomorrow, Saturday Pink Monkey Soap will be in two locations. We will be at the Farmers market in Guymon on 5th east of Main street from 8am to 11am. And we will be at Bryon's Corner at the Red Barn Cafe for the Christmas in July craft sale from 10am to 3pm.
