I am not a fan of kefir straight. I like to use it in cooking in place of buttermilk or milk. I have been wanting to try a kefir smoothie. I finally broke down and made one some.
Here is what I put in;
kefir
honey
vanilla
banana
ice
It is actually really good. I am glad for a way to use the kefir. I didn't care for it before I put the banana in. Now I am thinking I should have put some cocoa powder in too. Maybe next time. If you have kefir smoothie recipes other than this would you share please?
I am also interested in weather this is a high, medium or low calorie drink.
