Blood stain removal

With my dad staying here I have learned a thing or two. Many of you may already know this but maybe you are like me and didn't know.
Hydrogen peroxide will take out blood stains. Dad's skin is very thin and tends to tear easy. I found out that if you pour the peroxide on the stain on the fabric and let it sit for a few minutes, then blot with a clean cloth, the stain will come out. It took a couple of applications but the stain did come out.

  1. Does it not bleach out the fabric? On white, this would be perfect! Have you tried it on colored fabrics as well?

  2. I used it on my dads kahki pants. My dad said he never tried it on colors. You could try it in an inconspicious place on a garmet.
