16 brick rocket stove

  1. I like this so much. I am thinking that since the only bricks I have are NOT adobe, so I can't saw one in half, I could just leave the extra halves of those hanging out, and for the shorter brick, I could bury that one down a bit in the soil. What do you think?

  3. Yolanda, I was thinking about using a chisel and hammer to see if I can bust one in half. I found another rocket stove made with a 5 gallon bucket and mud straw I might try too. I will try to find the pix and post it.
I am interested in these types of stoves for two reasons, they cook well and use very little wood, the wood can just be little sticks too.

  4. Yes. It's something you could use to cook with when you have almost no fuel. I have done some solar cooking, and it is great, but we have so many overcast days here that it's not practical a lot of the time. This rocket stove would be good. I look forward to seeing your other information.
