Here is a tip you may not know about. When using vinegar to soak hard water stains or other things you are soaking, heat the vinegar first. Warm to hot vinegar loosens things up quickly so you don't have to let things sit and soak for hours.
Try this next time you want to soak your shower head. Heat the vinegar and put the shower head in a metal pan just a bit bigger, pour the hot vinegar over and let soak. Cleans fast.
