This is a great tasting drink. We have been using blueberries but will change it up as we get other berries. I use my dehydrated blueberries.
This drink provides energy, protein and fills you up. Its a great way to start the day.
This amount is enough for 2 to 3 servings.
I just want to mention that eating raw egg WHITES interferes with biotin absorption and is not good for you in the long haul. I just use the yolks in mine and save the whites to add to other things.
ReplyDeleteThis is the recipe my nutrition doctor gave me. ITs the one he uses and so it seems he would know that about the biotin. I will ask him Thursday when I go for my next appointment.
ReplyDeleteThanks for bringing this up. I will let you know what he says about it.

I've done some more reading and although there is a substance in raw egg whites that does that, some say that you would have to eat an awful lot of raw eggs for it to hurt you. Sigh... Sometimes it's hard to know what to believe!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean Yolanda. I think you have to just go with what makes the most sense, ask the Lord to guide you and pray.

Oh and I forgot to ask him about the Biotin but now youve answered for both of us.
