Last evening a community ice cream social and prayer meeting for our school was held in the park. The turnout was great even though it was sort of a last minute affair. My guess is there were at least 100. There was singing, praying and then of course ice cream.
Our school starts today. The girls are trying to get organized right now then we will begin with prayer and Bible study.
Joy's classes also start today. She called last evening after church and she said she would call today after classes. I am hoping there is someone there she can compete against. She loves to compete for grades. It keeps her on her toes. The main thing she didn't like about homeschooling is she was the only one in her class and there was no one to compete against.
Later today we will be traveling to Garden City to visit my mom. She is in the hospital there.
