I wanted to make myself a list of some meal ideas for this week using as much food from home as possible. This is the list I came up with. The meals can be either lunch or supper. Most likely they will be supper menus with the left overs used as lunch the next day or so.
1. leftovers~ Monday
2. breakfast casserole made with dehydrated hash browns, eggs and cheese (possible canned bacon if I want)
3. french toast topped with butter and powdered sugar
4. baked cheese sandwiches (place buttered bread and cheese as in a sandwich in baking dish. Pour egg milk mixture over until saturated. For each cup of milk mix in one egg. Ususally about a cup of milk for each sandwich or thereabouts. Bake at 350 until a knife inserted in middle comes out clean.)
5. cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes, vegetable
6. meatloaf, mashed potatoes, vegetable
7. frito chili pie
8. fried egg sandwiches
9. biscuits and gravy
