This is my 555th post. Its funny to post this many times and have so few readers. I think its great. I love writing on this blog and keeping track of what I am doing and my recipes and such. I just need to figure out how to organize the recipes. Then when the girls are looking for a specific recipe they could find it easier. I guess this is better than nothing though.
We are working on more potatoes and hope to do one more batch tonight. That will bring us up to 42 quarts with the 7 I canned yesterday. We will get quite a few quarts from this 100 pounds of potatoes. I learned after the first batch to cut them up or I would have ended up with 100 quarts. The first batch only has 5 or 6 potatoes per quart.
