Happy Birthday Jeff

December 24th is my husband, Jeff's birthday.  For most of his life that day has been pretty much taken up with other goings on so the last few years we have tried to make that day a little more special for him.  He likes to go to the beach on that day because he thinks its so neat that its warm enough where we live to do so.  Last year it was much colder that day and we had to wear jackets.  This year it was in the upper 70's.  Much more pleasant.  We asked a lady near by to snap a pix of us and she did so.  We think it turned out quite well.

Even though it was warm it was still quite foggy.  Our hair was damp and my glasses even fogged up and stayed that way for a long time.  I think Jeff had a good day because he got to spend it with us and do things he wanted to.

My youngest daughter Hannah turns 19 today.  She is a beautiful woman inside and out.  I love you Hannah.

Today is my mother's birthday.  I am thankful that her mother gave life to such a beautiful and wonderful woman, who in turn gave life to me.  I love you mom.

Today is my second oldest granddaughters 9th birthday.
They live far away so I dont get to see her but I can still wish her a happy birthday.

Happy birthday Jeff

Jeff's birthday is December 24th.  His mom's birthday is today December 26th.  Happy birthday Donna.
Christina and the kids made Jeff a birthday cake.  His favorite, carrot cake with real carrots.

Christina is very good about getting everyone together for a family picture.  She has a timer on her camera.

German Restaurant

Jeff took me to a German restaurant for my birthday.  It was authentic and very good.

Jeff said the restaurant looked very much like the ones he ate at in Germany.

Jeff had the stuffed cabbage, it came with fried potatoes and homemade sauerkraut.

I had the Ruben sandwich.  It came with fries.  We each at half of our meal and then we switched plates so that we could each try both dishes.  It was quite good and I plan to return.
