Cloth vs disposables

I think I used about 25 % cloth and 75 % disposables on my 5 daughters. I wish I had used all cloth though. Now days they have such nice cloth diapers. I think the really cool thing now is the diaper sprayer that you hook up to the toilet to rinse out the diapers which could be used as a bidet too. It sure would save dipping your hands in the toilet.

My first attempt at sewing a diaper

Sorry for the fuzzy picture, I took this from my phone and my daughter told me how to send it to my email. I am happy with my first attempt at diaper making. I should get really good at it by the time Kaleena delivers

This is the inside showing the pocket to add a soaker pad. The outside fabric is fleece and the inside is flannel.

Ths is the diaper at the widest waist position. IT can be made smaller for a younger baby. I will take these to church tomorrow and ask a mom who cloth diapers to test them for me and give me feedback.
