A couple of new patterns for tops

Easy stitch 'n save patterns by Mc Calls, top M6012 and bottom M5912. I was excited to find modest tops. The bottom pattern reminds me of the smock tops I used to make in junior high.

I was able to buy material for two tops and also some white eyelet for a skirt. I think I am going to have to make some slips because I sure cant find any in the stores. I will look online for patterns. I would like a full slip as well as a half slip.

Love the "smock top" patterns! Didn't you just love smock tops!? I still have fond memories of mine!

Girl, get you an old white sheet and make you a cotton half slip! You'll never go back!!!! Use that fancy zig-zag stitch to put your elastic around the top. Ta-Da! You are done!!!!

I was sitting at my sewing machine earlier and looked over at my stash of old sheets and thought about making a skirt out of one so why not a slip? I think I will do it. Thanks Linda.
Oh and I sleep at night, you silly. I dont do any more than you do, I just tell everyone.
