Today we are off to Galveston. We want to ride the ferry, go see if we can find the washed up barges from the hurricane. Then we want to go to the ship museum if its not too expensive. Then the girls want to walk and play on the beach and have a picnic. It rained here in Alvin all evening and all night so we are hoping its not too icky at the beach. This is the only day we can go with all the kids.
We had planned to stay until a week from this coming Monday but I think we will leave as soon as we pick Bill and Christina up from the airport next Saturday. That means we will get a late start, like after lunch, but we have three people who can drive so I think it will be ok.
