Latin text
A reader asked what Latin we use for our homeschooling.
We use Getting started with Latin by William E. Linney.
Beginning Latin for homeschoolers and self taught students of any age. We like it because along with the book Mr. Linney has a web site that you can down load him as he explains the lesson and pronounces the word or words of the day.
My older girl went through this text quite rapidly, she seems to have a flair for Latin.
She moved on to Mr. Linney's next level, where he has more of a lecture type audio.
There are other books out there but this is the one we found that we liked the best.

The views expressed on this blog are my own. They are not always politically correct and sometimes not even gramically correct. I write this blog mainly for my own satisfaction.

I also wanted a place to put my recipes as I find/use them that would be accessable to me and my daughters.

My Statement of Faith

I believe that God is the creator of all. I believe that His son Jesus came to earth to live, die and be resurrected for our sins if we accept that free gift. I won't water down my faith or accept half truths to please people. I believe the authorized King James Bible is the Holy word of God and that other versions are fakes written and published by apostates. I prefer to sit only under teaching that is taught from the authorized King James and no other version. I believe Jesus is the only way to heaven. I believe in the trinity. I believe our Lord is comming soon.
