After the glue sets I will glue the wine bottles upside down to the bottom. Then I will be able to slip them onto rebar that has been pounded into the ground. I hope I used the right kind of glue. I think these will be cool.
You've either been garage-saling or raided my "mother's" cabinets! Now I know what to do with all that cut-glass stuff that I never use....Candy dishes?? Now just where do those fit into my life??
I wonder if my "mother" (what she refers to herself as...I NEVER called her that in my life) would freak if she came to visit and I had made garden art out of my Lenox "Autumn" fine china that we never use. Can't you just see the birds eating out of it???
Yep, garage sales and thrift stores. I have a friend who owns a bar so that's where I get the booze bottles. Now I am trying to figure out how to balance the whole deal while the bottle gets glued to the bottom. My mom calls herself that too and she did call her mom, mother. I only did when I was mad at her. I think she would stroke if she saw the fine china out in the garden.
