One of my readers, ~Maria~ I think made a chalk board on the back of a mirror. She then showed other ideas for chalkboards. Today in my email I got this.
There were also instructions for making other colors of chalkboard paint than the usual black and green.
I thought a chalkboard table would be cool, especially with younger students.

I just enjoy watching creativity at work!
I made a chalkboard out of a wall :) and it was fantastic. But you can certainly use it in any good surface that does not have any "pores". As long as the surface is flat, the chalk paint adheres real well.
